🚀 TapCal Release v1.1

This update focuses on event creation, calendars, and language support, plus a few UI improvements.

As always, if you’ve sent feedback via Reddit, TikTok, or in-app - it’s logged and shaping what comes next!

🌍 Massive Language Support Upgrade
TapCal now supports 1,000+ locales. Month names, weekdays, and calendar formatting now match your system language and region.
(Uses system default, adjustable in App Layout & Widget Layout settings.)
🕒 Smarter Event Start Times
- Events created on future days now start at 9:00 AM (adjustable in settings)
- Events created today still round up to the next hour
- Fixes the late-night issue where events created after 11pm could roll into the next day
📅 Full Month Context
The month view widget now shows events from the previous and next months on overlapping days, muted for clarity
🗓 Add & Manage Calendars
You can now add, edit, colour, and delete calendars directly from the Visible Calendars screen using the new “+” button
📍 Location Preview on Event Cards
- Events with a location now show a location preview directly on the event card, making it quicker to see where you need to be at a glance

Updated the app icon to a single-colour design
Event title creation now supports spell check and autocorrect
Fixed a bug where the UI could refresh while typing an event title
Fixed an issue with the location map display on the event view
Improved Add New Event flow, you’re now always prompted to discard changes when exiting with unsaved edits
Updated the Visible Calendars page layout
New paywall design during onboarding
General bug fixes and performance improvements

This update sets the foundation for some bigger feature work coming next!
